Just add paint, and you're ready to go! We've coated these with a furniture grade lacquer, so before the paint dries, you can remove it if you need to. Or let the paint dry, and it's done!
Another option is to use chalk markers like in our example photo, which is a very easy, clean, and colourful way to draw your picture.

The plaques are either 20cm or 25cm depending on your choice. We recommend the 25cm version when doing handprints for older children (5+) while the smaller version works great for handprints on younger children.
It's made from a beautiful european birch veneer, and digitally printed with the wording of your choice around the edge. We then finish this with many coats of a semi-gloss furniture grade lacquer, to provide a beautiful surface for applying the paint or chalk markers.
Due to the laquer, you can remove the paint if you wipe it off with a baby wipe before it dries. This gives you a few shots if needed to get the perfect print!
Please be sure not to use alcohol based cleaners on the lacquer, as it will dissolve the lacquer.
If you're keen to set everything in place, and acrylic spray sealer will work well on top of the surface.
We'll send through artwork before we make it to ensure we've got the wording correct. Once you've approved it, we'll have it made up and in the post within 7 days, although generally it's much faster.
