We do need a high resolution scan of the drawing to work with; a photo generally doesn't have enough resolution for this product. (We're perfectionists and want the best possible result!). The best result will be from a full colour 300dpi or 600dpi scan; many home multifunction centers have a suitable scanner for this. Just email us with the artwork after ordering.
We'll always send a proof before we make it to confirm the image transfer with you, and require your approval before we proceed!
If you're not sure before you order - feel free to email us a scan ahead of time and we can advise if it's suitable!
As a final option, we're happy to scan it for you if you can post it to us - preferably flat and uncreased! We'll post back the original picture with your order in this case. Just get in touch and we'll let you know what to do!
The photo shows the A5 version, in landscape. Depending on the drawing, we may do it as portrait (tall) instead, although often these are done in landscape. The A4 version is the same, but the back plate will overhang the base on each side, as the bases are up to 210mm wide. We'll explain this as best we can when we send through a proof for your review.
These come in two sizes; A4 or A5. The A5 is a really nice size to capture the details and display nicely on a desk or shelf. But the A4 one has much more impact. It's up to you!
We print on gloss white acrylic only for this one, to fully capture the details of the drawing and the colours as best as we can.
We will have these made and in the post within 7 days of artwork approval - but generally much sooner!
