We have these in three different shapes and sizes! First up is the 5x7 rectangle - this is 5 inches x 7 inches - or in metric, 178mm x 127mm. The 5x7 rectangle can either be in Landscape (wide) or Portrait (tall) orientation to better fit the photo. The second size is a 7x7 rectangle - this is 180mm x 180mm. The final shape is a circle with a clipped bottom so it stands - this is 200mm wide and 180mm tall.
The wood is 26mm thick, and will freestand very easily. However, it's not that heavy for it's size!
The larger sizes are $5 more than the smaller sizes, to represent the extra wood that they use.
If your block doesn't contain any text, we'll go ahead and make up your block straight away. If it does contain text, we'll send through a proof first to confirm that we've got everything correct before we make it.
Once in production, the blocks will be in the post within 7 business days, but often this is much, much quicker.
There are books written about this subject... it's a big one! The short version is that we don't generally edit the photos you send us; however, the printer makes some on-the-fly adjustments during printing aiming to make the colours as vibrant as possible. In most cases, it comes up with a stunning result!
After printing, we add a coat of furniture grade semi-gloss lacquer, which can make the photo slightly yellow. The colours are still stunning, though!
However, with this product, we can't offer specific colour guarantees - if you're after specific colour reproduction, please get in touch and we'll assist you as best as we can.
