Can you believe that October is already halfway over, and the pre-Christmas markets are getting busy? We know many people love creating Earrings and are selling them at markets in the lead-up to Christmas! In case you are new to ordering from Foote and Flame, we wanted to give you a rundown of our Earring packages. We have several ways of purchasing our earring components to suit our Wholesale Earring Makers, who sell finished earrings to their customers, and the Hobby earring makers, who make them for themselves.
We have 4 main types of Earring Package.
We also have over 100 different materials you can choose from for your designs. Some materials are only available for certain products (e.g., we cannot print on mirror, so the mirror finishes are not available on any UV-printed designs). You can view the full range of colors here.
These kits contain 6 (occasionally more) coordinating designs based on a theme or colour. We like to feature various acrylic and timber materials and utilise our UV printers to enable us to create several effects only limited by our imagination. You have the option to purchase these with or without findings or glue - so that if you have a glue or finding preference, you can use what you have, but if you are new to making laser cut earrings or purchasing a kit as a gift, then adding the findings and glue is a great idea! This option doesn't allow colour or size changes unless you are purchasing in wholesale quantities (and the designs are available in our wholesale earring designs area)
Unfortunately, for the last year or so, we have put creating these on the back burner as there are only so many hours in the day - we hope to have these back eventually, but they may be less frequent.
This option lets you choose 6 (or more) designs from all our available designs in our Earring Kits and Wholesale individual designs. Would you like a couple of earrings from several different kits? You can mix and match them! Do you love an individual design but only make earrings for yourself? You don't need to buy the minimum of 15 that the wholesale kits require! This option always includes the glue and findings as well. The earring topper is included in these designs when purchased in a Choose Your Own Kit. This option has set colours and sizes for the designs, which can not be changed.
Wholesale earring sets are designed for our Wholesale Earring customers who are making and selling the designs and need larger quantities of the same design. These sets feature patterns and illustrations for which we have a commercial licence or are patterns that Jen has created that are turned into earring designs. These are available in set minimum quantities, depending on the style. They do not include toppers, so you can add the topper of your choice! You can also choose the material colour that you want. You can also choose a matte or gloss finish for most solid colours because #somanyoptions!
Earring components are laser-cut shapes where you can choose the material, size and hole layout. For example, you can order shapes without holes if you want studs. If you need toppers, you can order with a bottom hole, or if you want a smaller piece to separate a large statement piece from the topper, then a 12mm or 16mm piece with a top and bottom hole works fantastically (this look is a personal favourite of mine!) These are only available in minimum quantities - for details, please refer to the individual shape, as it does vary depending on the shape!
The other awesome thing about the above sets is that if you order multiple packs of the same size, shape and colour, we offer a discount depending on the quantity ordered. This discount is automatically added to the cart.
Custom wholesale designs are where you can provide artwork for us to print and cut for you to assemble. We also create custom-shaped designs for clients with something specific in mind that is outside of what we have available in the Earring Component Section.
